Neighbourhood description...
 
Right in heart of one of the most sought after neighbourhoods and just few moments from the centre of Barcelona, the apartment is superbly located in the Eixample district. This high-class neighbourhood is ideal for chilling out, shopping and sightseeing.

Passeig de Gracia is only a very short stroll of the apartment; this important commercial artery of the city overflows with boutiques, deluxe shops and world known franchises. Take a Tombus (special shop bus) that follows the shopping route of Barcelona.
Passeig de Gracias also houses some of the neck-straining works of Antonio Gaudi such as Casa Batlló and La Pedrera.

Easy travel (one metro stop only) will take you to vibrant Las Ramblas with its flower shops, street performers, artists exposing their works and even more. Las Ramblas finishes right at the sea side, at the square of Columbus where you can choose either to visit old port, the Aquarium or to taste typical Spanish dishes at one of the hundreds of restaurants (there are 11.000 restaurants and bars currently in Barcelona).

The nearest metro station is Passeig de Gracia (L1, red line; L3 green line) which is also a train station where you can take a train leaving for airport.
