| BOOKINGS |
 |
|
| |
All rates are per apartment per night (NOT per person)
A minimum of 3 nights is applied to all bookings. However minimum stay required can vary depending on the apartment, season and special events held, but can never be less than 3 nights. Please consult it in detailed description of the apartment.
When you make a reservation through Way2Barcelona.com, the rates that you see on the website (and the booking form) at the time you make the booking are the rates that we apply and confirm to you. If there are any unforeseen changes or problems with your reservation, we will automatically contact you first for your approval/instructions, before arranging a reservation for you.
After you submit the secure online booking form, you will soon be notified by email of your reservation confirmation, including full booking details: your booking reference, exact apartment location, the apartment's cancellation policy, address and telephone number.
A tenant should verify that all the information supplied by him and written in booking confirmation email (sent by Way to Barcelona Apartments) is correct and notify Way to Barcelona Apartments within 3 days about any possible changes. Failure to notify us within three days means that tenant accepts the reservation as stated.
Your e-mail confirmation will usually be with you the same day if you booked between 9:00 and 19.00 (local time in Barcelona), Monday to Friday. If you have booked outside of these times, your e-mail notification will arrive the following morning, or on the following Monday if you booked during the weekend or after 19.00 on Friday. We will always try to get the confirmation to you as soon as possible.
If for any reason you are unable to access the e-mail address you gave us in the secure booking form, please e-mail us using an alternative e-mail account as soon as possible, stating your details, at  . Alternatively, telephone our offices on +34 697 987 315 and ask for reservations.

| PAYMENT |
|
|
| |
In order to reserve an apartment for you, we require a prepayment of 20% of the total sum of reservation. The amount of prepayment will be stated on the online booking form.
NB: The booking is not confirmed until we have received your advance payment and you have got a booking confirmation form by email from Way to Barcelona Apartments.
The rest of the total sum of reservation is to be paid in cash directly to the owner of the apartment or to a contact person on the day of your arrival after you have received the keys from the flat.
We accept payment by credit cards (Visa, EuroCard/MasterCard, payment by PayPal and via bank transfer. |

|
|
|
| SECURITY DEPOSIT |
|
|
| |
"Security deposit" is the money held against any breakages or damage done to the property during the accommodation period.
Clients should be aware that they will be liable for any damages or breakages caused whilst in the accommodation. At some apartments a security deposit may be required prior to arrival and the client will be notified if this is applicable. The security deposit will be returned in full to the client at the end of the reservation period provided there have been no breakages or damages to the accommodation by the guest.
The amount of security deposit depends on the apartment. You can consult it on the page that provides detailed description of the apartment, below the price list. |

| CANCELLATIONS |
|
|
| |
Any cancellation should be done in accordance with our cancellation policy. Cancellation charges depend on the number of days left till arrival date (starting from the day when the notice is given). Our working hours are from Monday to Friday from 09.00 till 19.00 (local time in Barcelona), thus any cancellation received out of this time will be considered as received on the next working day.
Cancellation policy:
- More than 45 days prior to arrival date: 0% of the prepayment will be charged. However in this case, administration fee of 20€ + 16% VAT will be applied. That sum will be deducted from the total amount of the prepayment arranged by the client.
- Between 31-45 days prior to arrival date: 50% of the prepayment will be charged.
- Less than 31 days prior to arrival date: 100% of the prepayment will be charged.
To cancel a reservation, please send us an email or a fax including a number of your booking, days of your stay, reference of the apartment, your full name and contact details. Please note, that cancellation by phone is not acceptable, thus there will be less possibility of any confusion on our part or yours.
Way to Barcelona Apartments strongly recommends its clients to purchase travel insurance to cover possible expenses in case you have to cancel travel plans. |

| AMENDMENTS TO RESERVATIONS |
|
|
| |
A 20 Eur. + 16% VAT administration fee will be charged for any amendment made once a booking has been confirmed. Changes in reservations may include change of arrival or departure date, destination, number of guests and property or property type reserved.
However please note that Way to Barcelona Apartments does not accept any responsibility for lack of availability that may become apparent at time of an amendment. An amendment to a reservation does not include a cancellation of a reservation.
Should Way to Barcelona Apartments fail to receive the administration charge and any applicable cancellation charges in advance of the arrival date, we will be obliged to cancel the reservation for failure to comply with accepted Terms and Conditions. In case of such a cancellation, the Cancellation Policy as detailed above will apply. |

| CHECK IN / CHECK OUT |

| In most cases, check in is after 2.00 pm and check out is before 11.00 am. |

| PERSONAL DATA |
|

Way to Barcelona Apartments does not disclose personal data to third parties other than as permitted. Way to Barcelona Apartments operates a data protection policy, thus personal data such as your name, e-mail address and telephone number will only be shared with the owner of the apartment if necessary.
Your personal information is only used for reservation purposes, such as updating, modification or cancellation of your booking.
Way to Barcelona Apartments handles all personal details you provide us in a confidential way.
We take every precaution to protect personal information gathered on this site. Any sensitive information transmitted through this site is secured.

| FORCE MAJEURE |

Way to Barcelona Apartments will not be liable to any person by reason of any delay or failure to perform any of Way to Barcelona Apartments 's obligations under the Contract if the delay or failure was due to any circumstances or cause beyond Way to Barcelona Apartments 's reasonable control.
The tenant is not freed from the responsibility of payment due to personal circumstances or force majeure which shall include (but are not limited to) war, strikes or natural catastrophes. |

|
|
|
|
|
| AGENCY LETTING |
|
|
| |
| Way to Barcelona Apartments acts as an agent for landlords and owners of residential properties. Unless expressly stated to the contrary in writing, Way to Barcelona Apartments enters into contracts for the letting of property with guests or tenants as agent for a named principal.
In no circumstances will Way to Barcelona Apartments be liable to any tenant in respect of any property or relating to any damage or defect in the property, breach of any tenancy or letting agreement and any other breach by or on the part of the landlord including the failure to return a deposit. |

| AREA OF JURISDICTION |
|
|
| |
| As sole area of jurisdiction for suits against Way to Barcelona Apartments, Barcelona is agreed. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
| BEHAVIOUR |
|
|
| |
You are also expected to show consideration and respect towards your neighbors. Most of the apartments are located in ordinary city buildings, which are not in exclusive use for tourists. Thus please be considerate of noise, particularly in the evenings and at night.
The person signing the rental agreement is expected to ensure that his/her guests will behave in a suitable manner. Should that person or his/her guests not behave in a suitably responsible manner, the owner reserves the right to evict the client and his/her guests from the apartment without refunding the money already paid for the letting. |

Neither Way to Barcelona Apartments nor the owners of the apartments shall be liable for any direct, indirect or consequential loss and damages (including without limitation, damages, insurance, losses because of fire, robbery or criminal behavior), which arise out of or in connection with the accommodation or the provision of the Services or their use. All other warranties terms and conditions, expressed or implied by statute or otherwise, are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Way to Barcelona Apartments excludes all warranties, expressed or implied relating to this website. This includes, but is not limited to, any implied warranty that the information it contains is accurate or up-to-date or is suitable for any particular purpose. Way to Barcelona Apartments shall not be liable for any loss or damage suffered as the result of the use of this website. |
